Clarity vs Red Flag
Red Flag (by Pocket Implementation) is a dating-safety companion for women: you log good and worrying moments, it scores the relationship from those events, it can analyze chat screenshots, and it has a library of guides. Its listing says data is stored on your device. Clarity reads a whole conversation, from a chat export, screenshots or pasted text, and shows the messages behind each red flag. In our first run, Red Flag showed a blurred report based on quiz answers and then a paywall with the weekly plan selected; Clarity has no weekly plan and checks your first conversation in full for free.

What Red Flag does well
- A journal of what happened. Logging events, good and bad, builds a record that doesn't depend on having the messages.
- Learning material. A library on manipulation tactics, boundaries and safety planning.
- Data on your device. The listing says everything is stored locally, with no cloud uploads.
- A clear safety note pointing to emergency services and domestic-violence resources.
What we saw in the first run
After the quiz and before any chat was uploaded, Red Flag showed a relationship “report” with two warning signs and a moderate manipulation risk, with the details blurred behind an “Unlock My Report” button. The next screen offered a weekly plan at $5.99, already selected, or a yearly plan at $39.99.
Where Clarity is different
- The result comes from your messages. Clarity's score and red flags come from the conversation you import, and each flag lists the messages behind it, with dates.
- Nothing is blurred. Your first conversation is checked start to finish for free. There's no weekly plan: Pro is monthly, or a one-time lifetime purchase.

Which should you use?
If you want a private journal of dating experiences with safety guides, written for women, Red Flag is built for that. Red Flag is free to install. Its free version lets you track 3 events a month with a basic safety score and some guides. Premium is offered weekly ($5.99 in our run) or yearly ($39.99). Clarity checks your first conversation in full for free and has no weekly plan.

Red Flag can analyze screenshots you upload. Its relationship score is based on the events you log. In our first run, it showed a report based on quiz answers before any chat was uploaded.
