Delete Your Data
Clarity Red Flag Detector (Clarity Forensics) by ReedAI | Last updated: October 21, 2026
How to delete your data
You can delete everything yourself, at any time, from inside the app:
- Open Clarity and tap Settings (⚙️) in the bottom bar.
- Scroll to Delete Account and tap Delete All My Data.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Please delete before uninstalling. Clarity uses an anonymous account with no name or email, so uninstalling the app does not delete your data, and we have no way to identify an anonymous account afterwards. If you turned on Google backup in Settings, email us from that Google account and we will delete it for you.
What is deleted
- All imported conversations and their analysis, health history and import history
- Trend snapshots, AI reports, journal entries, tags and notes stored with your conversations
- Your feedback ratings on AI reports
- Smart Search data (message text and search index stored with our database provider, Supabase)
- Usage counters, import credits, referral codes and your account record
- Your anonymous sign-in account
- App settings stored on your device
If you added your own AI provider key, it is removed from your device's secure storage too. It is never sent to our servers.
What is kept
- Purchase records. Google Play and our billing provider, RevenueCat, keep records of subscriptions and purchases as required for billing, refunds and tax. Cancel any active subscription in Google Play — deleting your data does not cancel it.
- Anonymous diagnostics. App analytics (Firebase Analytics) and crash reports (Sentry) contain no conversation content and are kept under those services' standard retention periods.
- AI requests. Excerpts sent to Google Gemini for an AI report are not stored on our servers. Google's API terms govern how Google handles them.
